Peter George Chiarelli 

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Food Science and Technology Dept. at the University of Georgia (UGA) under the guidance of Kevin Mis Solval, Ph.D. I decided to stay and pursue a Ph.D. because I absolutely fell in love with my research and did not want to leave when there was so much more to look into and great potential for this project. I am working to develop functional ingredients using jellyfish. My goal is to make jellyfish products a household name. For this project, I will continue to build on my Master's research, grow my network, and hone my skills to make this vision come true. I am proud to be a Florida Gator (Class of 2019), Georgia BullDawg (Class of 2021), and a Food Scientist.
